How To Make Your DENTRAFIT Instant Mouth Trays
INSTRUCTIONS:
*Please note the blue tray is the tray holder and the white tray is the tray which will be used for teeth whitening*
Make your upper teeth mouth tray first.
Step 1 - Boil water in a kettle and then pour 300 ml into a large bowl. Then leave to cool for five minutes or until the water reaches 70 degrees centigrade, which is 158 degrees fahrenheit. Please be careful as boiling water is very hot and can scald. Please wear rubber gloves.
Step 2 - Ensure the white thin tray is inside the blue tray and whilst holding the blue handle, submerge the combined trays into the hot water, try to ensure the whole mouth tray is submerged up to the handle. Then shake the trays to remove any air bubbles that may be present.
Step 3 - Slowly wave the mouth trays in the water until the handle becomes soft and flexible. You will notice a slight loss of shape as they collapse.
Step 4 - After a minute remove the trays from the water and test for flexibility. The material should be soft enough now to mould against your teeth. Use a finger to check. If not, resubmerge the trays in the water until flexible enough.
Step 5 - Holding by the handle, insert the trays into your mouth making sure that your teeth are midway between the walls of the white tray. Using your fingers, form the tray by pressing firmly against your front teeth first and then up towards your gums. Remove your fingers and try to suck the water out of the tray, while it is still in your mouth. This will make it conform to your teeth better. As the mouth tray cools it will tighten over your teeth. At this stage you should bite lightly on the tray and loosen it off once without completely removing it.
Step 6 - Once the mouth tray has cooled in your mouth, which takes about 3 minutes simply remove the mouth trays. Separate the white tray from the blue tray. The white contoured tray is the fitted mouth tray that will be used for your teeth whitening.
Step 7 - If the mouth tray extends too far over your gums it can be uncomfortable to wear then simply cut off excess material with sharp scissors ensuring the tray still covers all of your teeth. If required you can smooth over any sharp edges by reheating in warm water and applying finger pressure. Remember that your mouth tray needs to cover your front teeth. Snipping off with scissors the back section of the mouth tray may make it more comfortable to wear as you may only want to whiten your front visible teeth.
Step 8 - Rinse mouth trays with cold water.
Step 9 - Make your mouth tray for your lower set of teeth by repeating the process, once completed your trays are now ready for teeth whitening. Please ensure there are no holes in the trays before you commence your teeth whitening. Ensure you DO NOT over fill your new mouth trays with teeth whitening gel and please read the instructions carefully.
